Was out for a walk and just popped in to take a look. Interesting to read articles about the writer and history of the area. Didn't take very long. Had a lovely conversation with the attendant lady and that was most enjoyable.

Unless this building is open, there is not as much to see here, though there are some decent information panels left up in the windows.

If you happen to visit when the theater is open, make sure to take advantage of it. The theater is gorgeous inside, with plush seating. It boggles the mind that Dawson had this during the Gold Rush.

What a spectacular place to be! They have great shows with phenomenal entertainers. You can learn some Canadian history in a way that is fun and always exciting. Dawson City and especially this place really take you back in time!

Stunning. Had a uniquely Canadian experience here during the Dawson Folk Festival. Alex Cuba, singing a Blue Rodeo song, in Spanish, in a hall that took you back to, oh I don't know, 1893? Lovely.

A fascinating historical building straight out of the gold rush era. Well preserved essentially in its original state. Great acoustic.

We enjoyed the 45 minutes guided tour. It felt like going back in time, you can imagine the crowd clapping and stomping their feet while they were watching the performances.

This is a beautiful old theater, originally built in 1899 by "Arizona" Charlie Meadows, and restored more recently. It retains its fabulous acoustics and some interesting nooks and crannies, including the recreated bedroom and sitting area of Klondike Kate. Kate was a popular dancer and...More

Stage show right out of the 1800's. Had a ball. Highly recommended. The casino is pretty laid back with slots and a few card tables.
