Bower Ponds has kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, biking, a kids park, wildlife, and a funky restaurant called Cheddar Heads, a stage, games room, public bathrooms and lots of paths.

This is a picturesque area with great trails. There are information signs which give the history of the area.

Great place to have a walk and a meal. Only open in the summer so hurry in before it closes for the winter.

Because they are part of the Parks department, you will have to get permission to do this. There is heritage buildings on the site and they may want to keep all things like this away.
