What a lovely place! So calm and peaceful.. Super-friendly staff lent us binoculars as we had forgotten ours and we spent several hours there just watching the wildlife. Walked there from downtown Red Deer along one of the many park trails. Recommended all round.

A fun place to spend 3-4 hours. The playground is very creative and amusing. The sanctuary is very peaceful. ThE inside isn't as interactive as it used to be. Many things not working.

Kerry Wood Nature centre is one of my favourite places to visit. When I need to 'unwind', a 4 km walk around the perimeter, or 30 minutes of stationary wildlife viewing does the job. I've had porcupines cross the trail in front of me, owls...More

Would come again! What an awesome place to visit. Very interesting and informative guides. This was my third time here, twice on school field trips. Kept the kids interest also.

Walked the paths for the annual Hospice Walk. Great family day. Also a nice lunch time walk when working in the downtown area.

Looking for a place to get away without leaving the city. This is a great place to visit. During the winter time, great place to cross country skiing, or snowshoeing. During the summer, there are places to take in a picnic or enjoy a pond.
