Spent the weekend out there with my daughter skiing. We both had a great time spending the day on the slops.

Was very pleasantly surprised with Hidden Valley. It's only a bit over 30 minutes drive from Medicine Hat. It was amazing to see snow in the hills after our drive through totally brown fields on the way there. There isn't tons of terrain but what there is was well groomed and covered in snow. I was surprised at how much... More

Hidden Valley is easily accessable from the Trans Canada Highway and is a trip worth while if you like to Ski and Snowboard with out having to travel for hours and pay the traditionally high prices of the more National and Internationally known establishments (Banff/Lake Louise et al)...Hidden Valley has numerous well groomed runs for all calibre of skiers, the... Hidden valley is a ski hill just south of elkwater. It has a variety of slopes and two main lifts (chair/Tbar) and an excellent tricks park for those who are intrested. Whilst a very experienced ski/boarder would be pressed to find a truly challenging run, for the avergae ski/boarder there is enough to keep the intrest all day and a... More

Let's start with what this is. HV is a family centric small ski hill. It's perfectly placed in striking distance of Med Hat, BATUS and Hwy 1. It is not the Rockies - but that's why it's so good. We're a family of four aged 5, 8 and 35. We booked a Pee Wee lesson for our youngest (1hr) and... More

This is a great ski hill that is close to the city and gives kids/people a chance to enjoy the outdoors. It is also great to see school trips utilizing the ski hill. Very nice place!!!

We love visiting Hidden Valley, the staff are always friendly and willing to help. We had our boys there for Ski/snowboard lessons, the instructors were amazing with the kids. My little guy had Joe for his snowboard lesson and he was the best! We will definitely be back.

Took the family there to try skiing for the first time. Had a great time, first rate instructors and small classes. Considering that it was in the middle of a blizzard and there was a foot of fresh snow everything was open and running. Great runs without having to run to the mountains.

This is a great ski hill in the middle of the prairies. It has numerous lifts, great snow, & a well equipped rental shop. The lodge has lots of room with sandwiches or full course meals. This is a great place to go skiing without having to drive 3.5 hrs to the mountains
