Great place to take new comers or locals.

This is a world class structure and with it comes a lot of history. A must for any age.It is also very easy to access off the freeway or any other part of Medicine Hat.

The teepee is an interesting attraction. Great info re the history of the Native Americans in the area. Also interesting were the trails and pathways down into the valley around the teepee. Bikes can be borrowed from the tourist office for free. This is a great park in Medicine Hat to get some fresh air and exercise.

This Teepee is easily accessible but no one really visits so expect no line ups or people bothering you while you take in this huge teepee and read all the information they have on plaques around. It is a relaxing place that every should enjoy. If upon leaving this area head to the information building and get even more info... More

A neat stop if you are in the area. Get a flavor for the area's recolonized history. Has a good view of the river valley

The Teepee is what Medicine Hat is best known for. It's a beautiful part of the skyline and can be seen from most places in the city. They have done a nice job commemorating the Aboriginals with pictures and stories at the TeePee. It's not the most fun monument to visit. It's basically a few minute stop, grab a photo... More

I have taken many people there and they all learned something and loved the paintings of the Aboriginal history, Also they liked the history of the teepee as well. The Teepee can be seen from many areas of the city and the people who live here would be lost if they could not see it. The different gatherings at the... More

Visiting from Ontario and had to check out this Teepee. First Nation art inside that also features their history. Really enjoyed it.
