Quite a nice little place. We went on a wagon-ride, which was excellent and informative and the horses were beautiful. Nice fort in good condition with several tipis and a decent collection of memorabilia inside. Worth the price of admission.

Not unlike other fort sites, however it is on a historic and interesting location right near the "famous" bridge. We went on the wagon ride which was interesting and informative. (included in the admission to the fort)

We were there in April of 2017. It's been taken over by the Galt Museum, and there seems to be some activity. But it was closed, and staff didn't indicate if/when it would be reopening.More
