Great ski resort for all levels

Great slopes for all levels of skiers. Since its fairly remote, you feel as you have the whole mountain for yourself. Just amazing!

The ski resort is great for all level for skiers. The Blacks were intense, the greens were forgiving and the blues were great at teaching you the advanced routes. They do not have a gondola, but the mountain view at the top was still beautiful! It is a must visit and a must ski!

Did the discovery package (beginner) on the 29th of december and the next step package on the 31st of december. Both times my instructor was a bubbly young lady named hannah. It was amazing! ! She was patient knowledgeable and really great to learn from. All the staff were really encouraging and eager to help. The coffee and food there... More

Doesn't really compare to BC ski fields. The runs are a bit shorter, the snow coverage not as good, the snow is very hard and compacted. Lifts older. It wasn't terrible but I wouldn't base my trip to Jasper around skiing Marmot Basin. Probably ski somewhere in BC preferably.

Love this mountain ski experience. Nice mixture of different skill levels. Lots of areas to lounge for lunch. They do provide microwaves. Food prices are high. To avoid ticket line ups, you get your tickets in town at a Marmot basin ticket kiosk (next to Tim Hortins.)

We spent 2 days skiing at Marmot over New Years and it was a lot of fun! The conditions were pretty good and it was not too busy. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and polite. Our daughter was in a full day lesson that included lunch and it was great! Isabelle G was an awesome instructor and... More

Seriously, marmot need heated and protected chairs. It's too darn cold! The food is inconsistent from the bottom lodge to the mid lodge. The mid lodge is far better.

Spent the day at the hill with my wife and 2 daughters (2&3 yr olds). The girls had a good time in the lessons area, she could get the feel for skiing. She went down the bigger run once before being too tired. I spent the rest of the day, went on all of the lifts and tried a lot... More
