We are glad that you enjoyed your afternoon in the town of Jasper! Sounds like a fantastic day.

Looking for brochures etc and there were not huge amounts and to find out most things you had to ask the staff instead. The staff were helpful enough but sometimes a little research first can make things more targetted

The person who helped was was clearly a local, knew the trails and how to approach them. She gave us great advice regarding bear warnings, and pointed out that bear bells are useless. They sell tourist stuff, but it is the advice that is great.

The information centre is a great place to buy or extend your park pass. This year the park pass was good for two years because in 2017 is Canada's 150th birthday so it is free entry into all national parks and historic sites in Canada!...More
