Pleasant walk but not much to see.

We would have liked to have a Trail Map but the dispenser at the Car Park was empty. The signage is not the best and we saw next to nothing of the former coal mining town. All in... read more

We would have liked to have a Trail Map but the dispenser at the Car Park was empty. The signage is not the best and we saw next to nothing of the former coal mining town. All in all it was a nice enough walk to stretch our legs but I would not recommend stopping here. Parts of the path... More

Expecting lots to see, we stopped the car and walkes the lower trail. Really not so much to see, although the path is beautiful. Only a few remaining things of the old mine, so....walk there and don't expect too much.

Easy beautiful walk to the very small water fall. Very close to the cabins and hot springs. No remnants of the mine are recognizable. View is amazing, no wild life

On our way back from the hot springs we stopped to check out this trail. Outdated vandalized sign at the foot of the trail, the park should get on that as it's not a nice phrase written on the Pocahontas sign. As you continue on there's another sign that had maps but none left with a donation box to replace... More

This trail is really not the greatest choice in the area. First, it could do with a little more signage. We lost our way several times and almost got eaten alive trying to make our way back through a moskito infested creek. Second, there is only one spot with a view over the valley. The rest of the track runs... More

Short walk to great view, but there was a dangerous amount of mosquitos. Over 100 bites wearing strong bug spray. Dog had a severe allergic reaction to so many bites. Wear a clip on mosquito repellant and bug spray. There are any other more interesting trails/activities I would suggest before this one, regardless of the bugs.

There is an " amusement" offering at the beginning of the trail. It's one of those large boarders with 3 people painted on it and the idea is to go behind the board and stick your face into one of the 3 spaces to replace the face painted on the front..commonly seen at an amusement park. The issue is that... More

One of Jasper's best kept secrets, stopping here for a walk before heading up to Miette Hot Springs was a perfect way to round out our day!

This trail is found just after the Jasper entrance from edmonton side. There are multiple trail options, the one we did was the longest and hardest to do but the payoff was worth it ( amazing view). There are very simple trails for families and there are trails for intermediates. I recommend anyone visiting Jasper to view this site. Its... More
