As an Edmontonian the Legislature is one of my favourite places to visit. The grounds often have some great events or live music on, check the legislative assembly website over the summer for a schedule of free concerns. The building itself it a real rarity...More

Similar to most of the government provincial centres in the prairies. However, beautiful grounds at Christmas, with the trees lit and a lovely view of the valley. In the summer a safe place to walk with children as no cars. Need to check re touring...More

Alberta's provincial history under one roof. Be sure to take the informative guided tour of the building. If the weather is nice you want to walk through the grounds as well. One can easily spend two-three hours on site. Spectacular!

I've been to the Alberta Legislature Building several times, always to meet with MLAs, but I've had time to enjoy the building while there. It's lovely from the outside, and staff are cheerful while you go through security. Once you're tagged, you have the freedom...More

Amazing Gardens, art work inside and architecture of Alberta's Capitol and Government Offices. Welcoming, easy to navigate and for all ages. Parking is a bit wonky to find but not as difficult to manage as Jasper Ave.
