It was a bit boring place to visit but we spent a couple hours there. Would have been good if there was a few more things to do or services there.

We hiked part way in on the trail on the south side of the highway. Didn't encounter anyone else on the trail. Gorgeous fall folliage. No big mammals on the day we hiked but very pleasant.

Yes. Parks Canada provides fire wood in areas where campfires are permitted. It's up to visitors to bring an axe to split wood and chop kindling, however.
