As a youth I spent many hours wondering the halls of this great building, but alas this location has been closed and the new RAM has been moved to a more central, downtown location. Great place to learn and spend time with kids and families.

Have taken occasion to visit a few times. Well worth the time invested. Sufficient displays to keep small, young and older children interested. Takes considerable time to do all of the museum justice...or even just the areas you may have interest in for that matter....More

The old location is now closed BUT I was very fortunate to get a tour of the new downtown location (the old post office site). Can't wait for this to open - world class!!

While a student in Edmonton, every year we would go to the museum on a Saturday morning in the winter. There's lots to take in and it's always fun to learn more about the history of where you live. I am excited to go back...More

The Royal Alberta Museum's galleries in the original location are closed for two years 2016-2017 while the exhibits are packed and moved to a brand new building under construction in downtown Edmonton. Please visit the museum's website for more information about the re-opening dates, etc....More
