Open May Long weekend to October each year, the streetcar's views of the city and the river are absolutely amazing. This is also the best way to get from the farmer's market to downtown.

We had friends visiting from Illinois & they thoroughly enjoyed it. The streetcar ticket taker was very knowledgeable about the street car. The ticket taker & the conductor were both volunteers and neither had worked for the Edmonton Transit system. The cost was only $6...More

I have ridden this little gem quite a few times over the years and it never disappoints! It is a great alternative to getting downtown from south of the river! Price is worth it, as it is all volunteer run. They give you a bit...More

At 6 bucks this is a bargain. Friendly knowledgeable commentary from the conductor, wonderful views across the river bridge, and a peek at life behind Whyte Ave.

I went on this by myself as I explored some of my own city's attractions. The ride guide was very informative. You get such a great view on top of the bridge. It's a shame its not a full circle trip.

So clearly it was our bad for trying this out for the first time on busy Canada Day. Still... Even with a 20 minute frequency (rather than the usual 40 minute frequency) the wait for a ride was pretty long with little kids, lined up...More

Thank you for your review and for braving our Canada Day crowds! Just a heads up that our normal frequency is 40 minutes and was doubled for the crowds that day. :-)
