Love the sailing activity

I still like going down to watch the sailing, finding being near the docks inviting. Great to watch the Disabled sailing program as well as the Sailing school in action.

This is one of my favorite parks all year round. A stop at Glenmore Landing's coffee houses to get a date square and a coffee and off I go with a friend for a great walk. The canoe club is along the way and the walkways provide a cozy stroll in nature.

Me and my wife take our kids to South Glenmore park at least 6 times a year and we live in North Calgary. Excellent Splash park and the park equipment is updated and is great for the little critters to burn themselves out on.

The main trail that goes around the Glenmore Reservoir is well maintained, until it enters the Weaselhead Natural area, where it is not maintained. This opens visitors and Calgarians to a beautiful part of Calgary, with woods, fields, and downtown views. The main washrooms that are open all year are on the far west side of the park, at the... Cycle around the reservoir, walk a short distance with friends or sit on the numerous benches and people watch. I started visiting the park in 1988 and have never grown tired of it. On a clear day, you can see the most spectacular views of the mountains. Accessible to all - wheel chairs, young children, etc.

Great place to go for a long walk or a bike ride. Start at the east end - looking at the mountains and wind your way past beautiful homes, a marina, into the woods, around the lake/reservoir and come out at the old-fashioned Heritage Park. Great for running, walking or biking.

We come every summer, multiple times with our kids and friends for kids fun. There is a park attached to the water park and bathrooms are available too. Shaded area can be found around tress. No picnic tables (other then the ones directly infant of sprinkler park) and no bbq available. We just backup snacks or food and bring it,... More

Had a great half day of sailing on the Glenmore reservoir. With a little experience or lesson from helpful city staff you can rent a boat of your choice and do some liesurely sailing (depending on the wind) around the lake.

Located right off Crowchild and Glenmore Trails, this great park on the reservoir provides and excellent escape from the day-to-day grind. Lots of trails lead off of it to other areas including Weaslehead Flats. Well worth a visit!
