This is a hidden gem a lot of people dont know this is here its a short trail only 3 kms ish long depending on which way you go. very nice views with good trails and benches at just the right spots.

I had heard the City had finished fixing the Douglas Fir Trail, and that it was open. The trails are on the north facing escarpments of Edworthy Park, and so were still VERY snowy, even in April. I tried seeing how far I could go...More

What a beautiful and easy walk in the Calgary Woods . This tree sanctuary is right by Bowness park and it is beautiful and simple walk . We went with friends and one 8 years old , it was easy for all of us ....More

A large off leash area makes this a great place to take dogs for the day. The last time my wife and I were these though a woman walking a very aggressive pitbull made a lot of the other dog owners very uncomfortable .

The kids and I enjoyed ourselves so much at this park we returned a few days later while on vacation. Lots of neat little places to stop and enjoy the view
