In the winter, these covered walks connecting the buildings in downtown is full of life, since it is possible to go to several buildings without being exposed to the freezing cold of Alberta. Also, there is lots of different services, shops, cafés, etc. Most interesting.

The City Fathers are to be congratulated for turning the +15 into a reality. In Hong Kong they do this to keep people off the streets but here in Calgary they do this to stop people freezing in the winter. You can get to offices and shops in extreme comfort. Wonderful facility

Perhaps initially a little confusing to a novice, but a very convenient way to get around downtown Calgary, especially for visitors wanting to visit attractions, restaurants and shopping. Also connected to/through a number of downtown hotels

I work downtown and use the +15 walkways all of the time. This is a great way to navigate through the downtown, to avoid cold or wet weather. If you need any help getting around, don't hesitate to ask someone. This is Calgary - we are all about helping others!

Opening hours of the +15 area in each building is unclear. The pdf map showed it opens from 7 am to 9 pm. In reality, it's up to each building security management. Please watch out if you plan to use the +15 after 5:30 pm.

Fantastic idea to get you around Calgary in the winter temperatures! It is a first floor walkway through the offices and open to the public. Plenty of cafes en route.. Will get you from 10th to 2nd street(Core Shopping Centre to Princes Park) without going outside! Perfect when it is -20c outside

Definitely download a pdf of the skywalk because no full map is available anywhere. It was fun to walk around to different attractions and get more familiar with downtown. We parked at the Fairmont Palliser, went to the Sky360 restaurant and Tower observation deck. Then we used the skywalk to explore. None of the staff knew anything about how to... More

We are December 7, 2016 and for the las 2 days temperature never was higher than -18 and -29 with windshield factor. Needless to say that I spent the last 3 days using the +15 like they call it here.

During cold weather winter or rain in the summer, being able to get around in doors for work, lunch/dinner or shopping is extremely convenient. You can leave your bulky clothes or umbrellas behind and get on with your day.
