Drive South to downtown for a great view of downtown facing Calgary tower. I love the lions. Why don’t they make bridges like this anymore.? Takes you to and through China town. Princes island on your right. Beware driving on lower level. It is narrow...More

We took the C-Train downtown and walked through Princes Island Park down to the Centre Street Bridge. From there, you can walk up to the Calgary Tower. Love this bridge with a nice view of the Bow River. If you are walking downtown, head over...More

The centre street bridge is little more than a century old connecting the downtown to the other parts of the city. Nicely built and well maintained. It is worth visiting as the Bow river looks beautiful and stunning.

The neat thing about this bridge is that it is the delination point for the four quadrants (SE SE NE and NW) of the city. It is an old bridge that crosses the Bow river, North of downtown. Opened in 1916, it has two decks;...More

One of many historic outdoor attractions in Calgary. Include this bridge on your downtown (Bow) river walk. Has the four lion statues on the 4 corners of the bridge.
