We especially liked the Mavericks section of the museum. It is all narratives of the people who pioneered this area. A great way to present history. There were also short films and audiotapes along the way. Very well done. Great museum shop as well.

I was really pleasantly surprised at this museum. The history of both Calgary and Canda in general are in well thought out displays. Well worth the visit.

We only spent an hour but we could have used another hour to see everything. I would highly recommend booking a guided tour, you'll get so much more out of your visit.

Took my two 10 year olds for the day and they loved it. Were big fans of the Asian displays as well as the gems/minerals on the top floor. Took us about 3 hours to get through the whole thing! Was a great experience!

I saw a school tour and no daily listed tour. Group tours are available after booking ahead. Strangely enough, fees for group tours are higher than for solo visitors, $20 v. $16. Hope info helped.
