Stunning place. We got here for sunrise and the place was full of photographers capturing the shots. Beautiful.

If yu are in thee area this lake is not to be missed. It is everything and more that you have ever heard about it. If you have a chance to stay overnight in the hotel you should take it.

We've all seen the pictures of Lake Lousie and think it is stunning, but seeing it in real life is unbelievable. It looks so beautiful, it doesn't even look real! Especially the colour of the water.

Whether observing from your room, sitting in the hotel, lounging on a chair, or hiking about the lake, it is a view unlike no other.

Saw the lake in bad weather and the day after with clouds. It's still beautiful. Doesn't matter if it's raining, if there's mist, smoke... It's still breathtaking!!

This lake is worth all the raves, though, all the lakes in the Banff area are amazing colors and are beautiful in their own way. We saw a bride and groom getting their photos taken and those photos are sure to be some of the...More

Incredibly beautiful lake and upscale hotel with shops and restaurants make this stop worth braving the crowds from tour buses. The Plain of Six Glaciers hike with chocolate cake at the tea house on top was the best one of our trip. After leaving the...More

Absoultly stunning but obviously very busy. We found the further you walked around Lake Louise the less busier it became. Still very much worth a visit.

Hi Annette ... There are canoe rentals at the boathouse on the west shore of the lake. However, life jackets are a must when you are canoeing, especially with children. It is a great experience, but I would ask at the... More
