Enjoyed lunch at the Fairmont Lake Louise and took a beautiful stroll on Lake Louise. You are surrounded by beautiful mountains and trees. In the winter it was fun to see the ice sculptures too.

This is classic Canada and in the Banff national park. Picturesque year round but in my opinion, the best scenery in the winter. Not crowded at all this time of year. Enjoy the many activities but plan ahead. Stay at the resort.

Superb location, especially in the winter. The feeling of walking to the far end of the Lake on frozen ice and snow was amazing. Far less tourists than in the summer. Walked up to Mirror Lake on snow shoes, great fun

The lake is wonderful. Unfortunately, there are too many people.Along lake is the way that attracts for the beautiful walk. However, you can also go to long walk to visit other smaller lakes.

Stunning glacier lake, named for Victoria and Albert's daughter HRH Princess Louise. Look her up in Wikipedia. Beautiful, kind, intelligent, progressive, enlightened, multi-talented and thoroughly hampered by being a Royal. The glacier on the mountains framing Lake Louise is the Victoria Glacier. There is a flat paved walk around the lake. One of the most visited lakes in the world.... More

We spent one day around Lake Louise last September which included hiking, taking in the views and enjoying a wonderful happy hour at the Fairmont. Such a gorgeous lake with unbelievable color. Amazing pictures and memories to last a lifetime.

Year round this lake has amazing views and amazing activities. In the winter is fantastic because the lake is frozen so it seems less crowded. In the summer it gets really busy but its still an amazing place to visit

The day we visited Lake Louise, unfortunately, it was overcast. Such a beautiful lake, but my pictures were a little dark and the blue is not the blue I know from other similar waters. When your visiting the area, you can't always know how the weather is going to be that day. It is still a very nice place to... More
