In the winter they host hockey tournaments on the lake and have a large skating rink near the hotel. A nice walk around the trails and you don't have to worry about the bears in the winter

Just stunning, nothing short of stunning. We stayed at the Fairmont for 2 nights in early December and it was just magical. Thick snow, frozen lake and snow capped mountains just beautiful. Wow.

This slice of heaven is amazing in the winter! The lake was beginning to freeze over, the snow was piled high, and right on cue fresh snow began to fall from the sky. We love this place !!!
