Not the largest falls around Alberta, but was very unique when partially frozen, but still have running water on them!

Lovely walk along the river from Banff, cross the river on a footbridge to get to the Bow Falls Trail and then walk on the other side of the river to the Falls. Loved it but we went on a very cold but sunny day...More

Very nice to visit this time of year...not to many people....quiet... and a great walk...fresh and clean

We were here in November, and while fun to see a waterfall, this would be even more fun/exciting if it was during the melt of spring. The waterfall would be bigger, etc.

Lots of buses and tourists take away from the beauty of this falls. Nice to see but there are better water views elsewhere.

There are many falls to hike to in Banff Natl Park and enjoy their beauty, this one you can pretty much drive to it. We drove to Surprise Corner as that seemed a little more adventurous. It's a beautiful sight regardless from where you observe...More

Very pretty and lots of parking. The falls with mountains behind is picture perfect. You can’t take a bad photo here.

We made the Quick drive to Bow Falls and found it to be pretty but anticlimactic. You can see it in less than five minutes, but don’t waste time if you are on a tight schedule.

A nice view point of the falls and mountains on the edge of the townsite. The trail is closed in winter.

The usual beautiful scenery that waterfalls and rivers are famous for . Having said that we did not want to miss out on seeing this place even on a tight schedule .

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
