This was a large picture perfect falls with at least 30 meter drop made all the more wonderful by the short walk from the Hotel. The wooden stairs on the hotel side of the Bow River make it very easy to climb to the top...More

We were walking around the town of Banff and found Bow Falls. It was nice but we thought it would be larger. Not crowded and easy walk.

We walked from downtown Banff to the falls. The trail has a couple of slight hills so, not completely flat. The falls aren't the tallest, but it it always fun to see a waterfall!

A walk of about 1.2kms takes you to this series of beautiful falls. Not strenuous, but a few steps to climb - worth the effort.

The park is small, but there are good posters with educational information and the view of the falls is fantastic.

We walked down to the falls after having a drink at the Banff springs hotel and it’s just round the corner. There was a path running along the river providing easy access to the view of the rushing water. Well worth a visit.

Their is a great walk along the Bow falls, which allow for some wonderful views of the falls and river. Take the time to enjoy this walk if you visit the area.

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
