The river and falls are lovely, and there is a nice trail that leads you up by the falls for some great photos. The parking lot is usually packed, and there is not much of it, so going early or in off-peak times is advisable! Great views, and fun for kids to throw rocks in the river and explore (under... This is a nice to do if it's sunny or at least partially sunny as the mountain views are spectacular. Great for photo ops. The river side path is pleasant to walk and good for all ages.

Good place to go when you are short on time, it is very near downtown Banff. Very beatiful falls, and it's a good place to spot elks and deers having their meals.

We've been here a few times, and have seen it in the winter, spring and summer. It was beautiful even while frozen! Going in the summer is great, as you can hike to the top on the pathway and see different views.

I have been here several times and this time, it was still frozen but in the process of melting which made it a new experience. Easy access within a town. Very beautiful.

Not the most spectacular Falls but important to the history of the area. Get there early in the morning before the tour buses or for sunset to truly enjoy.

I have seen Bow falls many times but I have never seen it this early in the year and 90% frozen still took pictures the falls are much better in the summer. If your in Banff the falls are minutes away and in Banff also so check them out you won't be disappointed

This place is located just outside of town. It's free to go here and very beautiful. They used these falls in a Marilyn Monroe movie.

Lovely winding path through pines with up close views of the river-frozen and white when we visited-views also of historic Banff Springs Hotel-Falls frozen but still amazing-photographers heaven! Continue up walk past ice skating pond to the hotel-caught the ROAM bus back to downtown for 2 Loonies ($2CA)
