Located just up the mountain from the center of Banff lies the Banff Centre. Artists from all over the world come here to study and perform. A lovely facility with a great theatre, good food, spacious accommodation, and a view of the Bow Valley.

If you are going to be in Banff, find out what is happening at the Banff Centre. All performances are worthwhile and prices are very reasonable. There are several excellent restaurants on site, as well.

There is a fitness centre and swimming pool at The Banff Centre. It is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into downtown.

If you are passing through the park you do not need a Park Pass. If you are passing through the park you may stop for gas etc. I have never seen a Park Pass Check within the town of Banff.
