The city of Banff is small, but has everything you could want or need on your trip. Excellent restaurants, a multitude of stores and bars, and a friendly atmosphere. Do not pass up Banff on your trip to the Alberta area.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be out of the hustle bustle. The rooms are very nice and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. I would not recommend if walking hills and stairs are a problem.

I am here for a conference now and trust me, there can be no better place than this one for a conference. They have great infrastructure including accomodation, food and other activities.

As the name suggests, it is center for many activities. But not recommended for a longer visit. Different from other locations.

Really good free wifi in some areas, with incredible views. Nice cafe with comfy seats and good atmosphere (lousy service tho).

There is a fitness centre and swimming pool at The Banff Centre. It is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into downtown.

If you are passing through the park you do not need a Park Pass. If you are passing through the park you may stop for gas etc. I have never seen a Park Pass Check within the town of Banff.
