Really cute little street. Definitely worth walking down even if you are staying at the Fairmont or somewhere father away.

We really enjoy the stores on the main strip, but it is much easier to browse if you don’t have a stroller. Baby barriers are convenient for the stores with 2 levels.... ( most with stairs are not equipt for wheel chair or strollers). We...More

This place had a nice vibe to it. Lots of shops including the obligatory souvenir shops as well as places to eat. Nicely set out and not too busy.

Really enjoyed the shops. My favorite was the Christmas store! Could spend hours just wandering around the shops there.

We went looking specifically for sweatshirts for grandkids back home. Not to be found amidst the many shops geared for tourists. Too bad we didn't want bear pajamas, or funny hats, or maple flavored candies or t-shirts. Lots of them. Can only imagine Banff Avenue...More

Family holiday visit from the UK. Stayed in a lodge at the edge of town but drove down each night to the good choice of restaurants, then a stroll round the open until 21.00 shops. Also enjoyed a walk round the Farmer's market, which was...More

Definitely stop by Banff Town if you are visiting Banff National Park! Such a cute town. We found a huge parking lot with free parking and a huge public washroom. So many shops, restaurants and cafes!

Depends on the wind. When we were there, no smoke in Banff, although the mountains were obscured.
