Beautiful lake - worth a pic if passing by
We were on a tour bus and it pulled over to a pullout on the side of the road for us to get off the bus and take some pictures. It was a beautiful lake with beautiful scenery, however, if you are short on time, of all the stunning lakes we saw, this one, as beautiful as it was, could be skipped. (Of course, Lake Louise and Lake Moraine were more spectacular.)

    A Beautiful Spot
I have camped many times many years ago at Two Jack Lake Campsite, but have never actually been to the lake. Because we had some friends visiting from the UK, we took some time to stop here and take a close look at what the lake had to offer. There are picnic tables and a nice beach for the kids to enjoy a swim in the shallow water. And of course the colour is a beautiful green

    BeautifuL!
We stopped here on a tour and it was breathtaking! We were lucky enough to visit on a day that was still so our photos were a total reflection because of the stillness of the water. Im enlarging the photo I took and adding it to my treasured wall of gorgeous locations!

two jack lake sightseeing
Try this 3.0-mile out-and-back trail near Banff, Alberta. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 10 min to complete. This is a very popular area for camping, hiking, and paddle sports, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Views were beautiful as always, the only disappointment was the park rangers driving by everyone site every 20 minutes, then watching everyone like hawks. They took our things, took photos of our site all because we left hand sanitizer out and an empty water jug. They definitely ruined our experience and the 6 couples beside us decided they won’t be back because of this very same reason. Park rangers need to disclose why they are a little more attentive when we check in (explaining why they had to put down some wolf cubs/ bear) due to people leaving food out.
We all felt like we were in a jail and it was hard to relax. They were not friendly at all, minus the Warden, who was lovely.
They also need to remember we are customers, families and people eating to enjoy nature, most of us aren’t out to harm the environment and want what’s best.
Keep your site clean but don’t be afraid to tell the forest police to respect your space and privacy.

We stopped here after the drive from Calgary. It was easy to park, and 10 mins from Banff.
There were people on SUPs, kayaks, dog walking.. it was really lovely

We tried to stop but to park was a mile away. There were SO many people in the water and completely covering the small island. I have never seen so many people In one lake area. Lots of canoes, paddle boards and just people out on and in the water. Took a couple photos from car. I wish I had taken some on the way back. It was just dotted with So many people. It looked pretty.

Two Jack Lake was nice and relaxing, and it seems like this is where the locals come and hang out to avoid the tourist crowd. It's not as great as the more popular lakes, but it was still nice and peaceful. There was ample parking and the lake was right next to the parking lot, so it was very easy to walk to. No restaurants or cafes, so take a picnic if needed. We spent about 45 minutes here just to observe and relax a bit.

Another great lake with fabulous views just outside Banff. Worth the effort the views are spectacular. Parking is no problem, though will become more of an issue later in the season
