We took the Gondola. The beauty of the stunning views is breath taking. The more you walk, the better the views were. The climb on the wooden path was a bit scary (especially as there were lots of kids running about (accidents waiting to occur...More

We took the Gondola but I think next time we will hike. Just so much beauty up there... Even a bit of snow where we made a tiny snowman! Take your time and explore, quite a bit of hiking but worth it.

Considering I got engaged at the top of this mountain I am a bit biased! Spectacular views, we were lucky enough that it snowed while we were up there too. Amazing experience, highly recommend for the view at the top!

Stunning views, a nice and steady path - just a bit of Hard work at the end, rewarded by the panoramic views. Don't waste money on a gondola when this is far more rewarding, healthier and cheaper! Would recommend an early start when it's quieter...More

I read that a lot of people are upset with the fact that the Gondola is expensive, it's hard to find a parking spot and so on. Well it is really easy to have a great experience without any frustrations. Parking issues can be solved...More

We took the gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain. It is a pretty quick ride. We got out and looked around and then took the stairs up to the cosmic ray station. There was snow on several of the steps and platforms on the way up....More

Absolutely, you can buy one way down no problem. Can't remember the cost and take about 9 minutes with an option of a picture purchase, or essential and no hassle. Enjoy
