My daughter and I hiked Sulphur Mountain in September 2017 - just as the first snow was sticking to the mountain. This hike is relentless, and not recommending for someone who has never done a long hike or climb before - my daughter and I...More

Great views from the top and worth the walk to the cosmic ray station. Free parking at the gondola station. Wear comfortable shoes and take a coat as it can be very windy at the top.

Absolutely loved hiking up the mountain. We took about 1 hour 45 to walk up. The first half ia relatively easy with soft gradients but the later half is quite taxing - you'll be hot and sweaty at the top! The sweat was worth the...More

I absolutely loved hiking Sulphur mountain. This was my first time hiking a mountain ever and we did it in 1 hour and 27 minutes up, and 1 hour down. Going down was much harder than I expected and not great on the knees. One...More

So I tried to hike and 20 minutes after I preferred taking the gondola since I realize that it's a long hike. It's doable though but you have to be used to hard hikes. Finally, we took the gondola way up (after a huge lineup)...More

This was a great hike and was relatively empty getting to the top. It is a pretty long/steep climb of just over 5km and an elevation gain of about 650m. We only saw about 12 total hikers up. The average time is about 2 hours....More

Absolutely, you can buy one way down no problem. Can't remember the cost and take about 9 minutes with an option of a picture purchase, or essential and no hassle. Enjoy
