Awesome views and nice and quiet. We pulled off the road at a viewing point and spent around an hour in the area. Good area for skiers apparently and the circle in the photo is a guy working his way back up after coming down the slope.

You can view Crowfoot Glacier from a pullout off of the Icefields Parkway. We were on a tour bus that pulled over and let everyone out to take some pictures. It is a large glacier and from the parking lot you can get some pretty good pictures. Well worth visiting, while the glaciers still exist.

Crowfoot Glacier is one of the first glaciers you will see on the Icefield Parkway as you head towards Jasper. There are two views: on is from the viewpoint on the highway, and the other side of the glacier can be seen from nearby Bow Lake.

You can see this from a viewpoint or stop at Bow Lake. Nice little stop to walk around or splash round in the shallow end of the lake

If you are driving down the highway this place is a pit stop that offers a good view of Crowfoot glacier. I was there in July and the sight was nothing awesome. A five minute stop to click a few pics and then off you go.........

This somewhat interesting and mildly scenic glacier was located on the Icefields Parkway about 32 km northwest of Lake Louise. Several small turnouts permitted stops for viewing. Although the glacier was reputedly about 1.5 square kilometers, little of its surface was easily visible from alongside the highway. On the day we stopped to see it, many slow-moving, low-hanging, snow-laden clouds often obscured our views. It was a worth the time to stop, but nothing particularly spectacular when compared to the lakes we’d seen along our route.

A short visit. This glacier is along the Icefields Parkway, and worth a photo. They say the third toe of the glacier is disappearing so it’s a crowfoot with only two toes.

We pulled over to the side of the road for a few minutes to see the glacier. Unfortunately so much of the glaciers continue to melt so their presence is not the same. However, always cool to see.

Crowfoot Glacier is a quick stop... You can do it in a drive by but you really miss how much the Glacier has receded..
