Porters is a small commercial ski field, but with a real personal side that you don't get anywhere else. The terrain offers something for every ability with a small terrain park for the jibbers. We had an epic few days after a big dump and...More

Popped over to Porters for a days skiing, great fun. Booked kids into lessons and skied the slopes then spent the afternoon on the intermediate slope. Helpful staff though slow at the front desk. Lovely ski instructors and unhelpful staff particularly on the lifts with...More

Take a trip to Porters Ski Area and get a unique ski experience! You will have the entire ski area, almost to yourself and the views are spectacular! Make sure you bundle up, as it can get quite cold and windy!

2016 has not been great in terms of fields being open because of the weather on the days I can go, but over several years we have found it good skiing, excellent facilities, have met friends there, and there is nothing to beat the stunning...More

Mount Hutt was closed due to bad weather and we were advised that this "club field" often escapes the same winds. We decided to try it out and had the best day. It's the smallest ski field I've seen but we made the most of...More
