When I went the roads were terrible and it totally wasn't worth it. With a solid road it adds to your Ha Giang loop and has some decent homestays around it. Good view of China as well.

There is a road what lead you to the middle section. We did not know it so we’ve done an extra 200 stairs. :) The view is really nice I think it’s worth the effort. Recommend

We got there eventually. They were working on the roads and getting through with the car took some time. It's a real destination for the Vietnamese. For us it wasn't worth the time.

Lung Cu flag tower is high, tall tower, but more special for any Vietnamese that to reach to top of the country, also the beautiful mountain roads to get here. Next, you will drive for another 40km heading for Dong Van town for overnight.

Just OK. If you have time it's a beautiful excuse for a wonderful drive up the mountain. Construction on the road (May 2018) means it takes a little time (I got lucky and came back during lunch - no construction waiting!). View is pretty spectacular.

If not for the border between China and Vietnam, this will just be any ordinary spot. You need to walk up a long flight of stairs to reach the top. The tower is open but going up and down the spiral staircase can be quite...More

I would say the tower wasn't so interesting and views were definitely not one of the best in Ha Giang. But we've enjoyed the roads on motorbikes and views along them. If you enjoy riding motorbike, just go there, it's worth one day trip. But...More

Cool view of Ha Giang province. You can also spot China from the top of the flag pole tower. Would recommend not putting gravel in the hill to the top of Cung Lu flag pole (we slipped with our motorbike there).

Although I mention the tower has a nice view, the trip from Dong Van is long and difficult. The view is not unique in this area and the tower is not that special for tourists. If you have enough time, it definitely is worth a...More
