The beach at Nuevo Vallarta is fantastic! My husband and I can walk for miles on the beach with the calm waters lapping at our feet. The bay water's and waves are very calm. You can walk out into the bay for a long distance...More

Young beach. Sharpe stones in sand. An ok day trip. We were able to snorkel but wear a wet suit at this time of year because water is very very cold. You also might see migration of humpback whales at this time.

You can walk this beach for miles! It’s beautiful, the water is nice and the scenery is great! We walked 3 days in a row. The only drawback is lack of public washrooms, as there are so many resorts and you can’t use the bathrooms...More

The beautiful sandy beach sweeps all way round the bay. We regularly walked the 40/50 minute walk from Nuevo Vallarta to the lovely village of Bucerias. You can walk much further if you wish.

Lovely beach to walk on, hard packed, and u can walk for miles with no interruptions. Walked in the morning very few vendors, not like in PVR or even Sayulita.

Nuevo provides approximately six miles of non rocky beach. It is well maintained and provides every choice of recreation and massage tents at various locations. Easy access to all properties and the boulevard. We love walking the soft sand beach. A real treat

This is a great beach for walking and running. The lower section where the tide comes in is packed down nice and firm. It is a big beach where there is no crowding. Most of the beach on the south end is in front of...More

In Mexico? You gotta be slow, stupid or crazy to be walking around a foreign country at night. Exactly how tourists get hurt. Don't be dumb, pay a taxi to where you are trying to go.

We've snorkeled at Los Caletas and Marietas Island on tours. They were OK. Not as spectacular as Hawaii or other areas we've snorkeled, but the water is clear and you can see fish and rock formations.
