Beautiful beach, very clean. Very different from the gulf, the sand is darker and more coarse, but still very nice for an evening stroll or a day of R&R under a cabana with beach service.

This is a beautiful beach to walk along and to view from your room. There is a lot of river run off. I would not feel safe swimming in this water.

We go to the beach outside of the Grand Mayan and the Grand Luxxe. The beaches are long and clean. You have the option to parasail or go to one of the booths and buy some shirts and other items. There are plenty of Lounge...More

NV beach goes on for miles. The sand is nice and slow in areas but when the tide is low you can walk closer to the water to get a better walk. We are at the end of the beach so we normally go for...More

Great beach and amazing sunsets! Between the Olive Ridley sea turtles, iguanas, birds and sunset, this place is amazing.

Look out for hatching Olive Green Ridley turtles in the mornings and the mum turtles coming lay their eggs in the evenings. The beach is clean and quiet.

Nuevo Vallarta Beach is a really good beach. You can walk for several miles easily. Nice soft sand. Most resorts take care of their shoreline. Beautiful area !

We have gone to many beaches and the one in Nuevo Vallarta is our favorite! Today we saw turtles hatching as conservationists protected them, amazing sight to behold.

Lovely Beach. Get a Jetski and go dolphin spotting! Sea is calm in the morning with surf getting a little livelier in the afternoon but never too rough to mess around in. There are guys selling this and that but they aren't pushy if you...More

In Mexico? You gotta be slow, stupid or crazy to be walking around a foreign country at night. Exactly how tourists get hurt. Don't be dumb, pay a taxi to where you are trying to go.

We've snorkeled at Los Caletas and Marietas Island on tours. They were OK. Not as spectacular as Hawaii or other areas we've snorkeled, but the water is clear and you can see fish and rock formations.
