We visited this location as a part of a tour group. It was interesting to learn the history. This is the QST top before the cable car

The picture looks beautiful but when you get there then you realize that it is nothing but a picture. However, the Teleferico ride is nice and very inexpensive. They should have a nice bar to enjoy a beer. The people are very nice.

Definitely worth seeing! Especially at night you can see Durango's city lights! They tell you a little about the history of the region on the teleferico. We got some great night shots!

How sad to see this lovely small, special church so commercialized. But, it had been many years since l was in Durango. Popular. The city has spread. A good way to orient oneself

Rode the shot cable car (Teleferico) ride from downtown to the scenic outlook. The view is fine (not spectacular).,but there is nothing to do or see at the top other than look at the cityscape.

This is the highest point in the city of Durango. From here you can see the entire city. I have been up there several times up and down the steps near the Universidad and up and down the street that leads there. A great place to relax enjoy the view and go inside the church and have a look.

We took the gondola to this side of Durango in the evening. The city lights at night are very beautiful. We were happily surprised to find live music when we arrived. Don't miss this!

This is more of less a cable car (teleferico in Spanish) that runs from the top of the city to an area closer to the center. The view of the city from the top is great and I definitely recommend bringing a camera or phone that can take panoramas. The cable car ride is pretty short, about 800 meters, with... More

I went just for the cable car ride but the view at the end was just amazing, incredible. Panoramic of all of Durango. I left my backpack in the waiting room of the cable car and when I returned the backpack had been handed in and they were waiting to return it to me. It was wonderful to have met... More
