It really is closed. You can see the building through the gate. If you adventuresome you can climb up on a second gate and get a good picture over the roof. You cannot actually get anywhere close to the building. My sons enjoyed it because they got a few pictures. But you couldn't get close.

My wife and I visites this castle on Nov. It was under construction and no one was allowed on the property. It was privately owned and construction was to be completed by 2018. I would not recommend stopping by, unless you don't mind taking photos from the sidewalk through a ten foot fence. But still a beautiful castle if you... More

If you are a fan of family history, architecture, then you must visit Castillo Douglas, that is next to "Chalet Douglas" and Templo de San Antonio. I search in Wilkipedia, and they said that it was built in the late 1800 by a family that came from Scotland. Sadly, the castle has been abandoned, and you can see through the... More
