If you are keen to Visit Zero Point this one is easily accessible from Dawki. The only Thrill is to get yourself clicked on the Friendship gate and Zero Milestones.

Army is friendly here and with the quick Detour of 30 Min You can visit this From Dawki.

This a india Bangladesh bordar gate is nothing special for a tourist to see except it's normal Indian border with all trade facilities not having all facilities of modern Land Port maintained by land port authority of India.
Road conditions are poor due to heavy duty trucks loaded with coal or lime always going towards Bangladesh from meghalaya.
Yes for many Bangali tourists Bangladesh side of bordar gate was a part of undivided sylhet district ,now one portion of sylhet district is in India ( Assam) and other parts at Bangladesh.
One can enjoy snacks at Bordar gate in a coffee shop run by the Indian army and see the Bangladesh shop's from bordar gate.

Nothing much to do, just click and carry on kind of place. Can skip if short on time. 1 hr would be more than sufficient here.

Nice to see one side of border of our huge country - though cannot measure it at a scale of Wagah (Punjab border with Pakistan) but still being a border we were thrilled. Its basically a trade border so its always packed with trucks. Best is we could interact with the border security force. Do it only if you can and have the time else can be skipped.

My home town is very close to Bangladesh border hence I was not very excited to visit this place. Too much trucks and pollution.

Small place, less visited but gives sense of pride to see our Border guards doing their duty without any support infrastructure - like border fencing, weapons, canteens, rest rooms etc. Place is not the same as Wagha Border and lot of illegal trade is reported there.

As the reviews state this place is for photos and carry on. You can cross the other side just for a photo but can't stay long, if you have the time, just go just for a photo
