Xpu Ha beach is beautiful altho a lot busier then just a few years ago. It's 10 km north of Akumal which is no where near Puerto Aventuras. The seaweed isn't usually a problem but windy weather has affected the beaches this winter.

Perfect beach if you want to get away from Playa for a while. Make sure to go here early so you can enjoy the beach almost empty. If you want a quiet part of the beach it is possible as well as the beach club.

The beach is pretty enough though long stretches covered in seaweed so you have to leap over those and swim out a distance to get away especially during the afternoon when the tide goes out. Our real gripe isn’t with the beach but rather the...More

We took a quick taxi to this beach and enjoyed 4 hours of natural beauty here. The ocean is perfect for swimming, clear and wavy with a large white sand beach that is not overly crowded. There is a rustic lunch spot if you need...More

You need to have a car or to take a public transportation to get to this beach! The public transportation leaves you at the highway, so you have to walk to the beach! To get there, there is a tax of 80pesos, but you just...More

Great little beach. Long enough to take a stroll and get away from the main hub. But small enough to feel like a private oasis. There’s a couple beach club restaurants with decent food. There’s often live music. You do have to pay at the...More

Visited Xpu-ha beach for half a day. We started the day by catching a $10 cab from our condo at Puerto Aventuras. I must say the beaches are much nicer that PA. Highlights of the beach were the crystal clear water and abundant fish within....More

This place is like heaven on earth. Stunning and beautiful. A must see, one of Gods gifts. Beautiful landscape, ocean views and the fish and wild life is incredible. Everyone should go to this place once in their life!

It's a fairly nice sandy beach with plenty of room. Doesn't feel crowded. Come early and place yourself a bit away from the restaurants. That should give some peace and quiet. Parking is a bit expensive at 80 pesos a day.

There's no entrance fee to the beach itself. If you want to use one of the beach clubs facilities, or access the cenotes at the north end on private property there are some nominal fees but as long as you use the public... More

it would be quite a walk and you would be along a very busy dual carriage way. It is possible but probably not the best idea. The beach is free itself, but you need to pay for sunbeds etc if you use them.I hope this helps.
