Location: Kanasawadi/Chikka Madhure 14 Km from Nelamangala on Nelamangala - Doddaballapur Road in Doddaballapur taluk. 40 Km from Bangalore. Popularity: One of the prominent temples around Nelamangala or Bangalore rural. Have seen thousands of people visiting the temple in shravana season, especially on Saturdays. If you are one who enjoys having lot of people around and want to interact then Saturdays are best. What to Do: The place is cluster of temples. Main temple dedicated to Shani god and places ganesha temple inside. There is Jeshtadevi and Anjaneya temple close by to main temple. Main temple is always quite busy, they have two or three place where you can do offer payer in the main temple alone. If have gone there by your car then don't miss out on the graffiti like art form done by few artist right in front of main gate. They do this on your front windshield of your car, ask them to consider your viewing area. You can also view the Madhure Kere/Lake from the temple. You might be tempted to explore the lake then go for it. On the way to the destination from nelamangala you might encounter few other temples. Food: Free vegetarian meals are arranged by the temple management which is located right in front of the temple. And you can get variety of puffed rice mixed with Indian savories.…
