The overall experience was nice.
It’s almost an hour of walking & exploring around the park on a wooden bridges. The place was clean and well maintained. Every corner is picture worthy. There are 2 pit stops where you can actually sit and rest but i don’t recommend bringing an elderly with you as it is a long walk. There’s no water on the pit stops so i recommend you bring your own water bottles inside, an umbrella in case of rain or a sunny afternoon, and personal fan for the warm climate. Environmental fee is not overpriced. Friendly staff.

Experience nature of Ibajay, Aklan about 45 minutes from Kalibo through the main highway or through the coastal road via Tangalan. They say they have some of the oldest mangrove tree in this swap land. Near the beach, it’s a unique environmental park for nature lover.

Ask for local guide to assist you. Nice long trek along the wooden boardwalk

This is a quiet place to hang out in. I have dreamed of coming back here and staying for hours, just reading a book in one of the huts. We held our family reunion here in 2015. They have a multi-purpose hall that you could rent for events. It is the perfect venue because of the mangroves with the wooden bridges and the tangled tree branches. Across the street is Bugtongbato beach if you want to go for a swim. Our family though, we played an "Amazing Race" kind of game all over the park and the beach across. This is fit for children from 10 to 62 years old. It was so much fun. The place is accessible by public transport but you have to pay a special fee. Just take a tricycle bound for Bugtong Bato from Ibajay town proper. Prepare your camera on the way there because you will pass a lot of beautiful views along the way.

I love the place. I like to see the tiny blue crabs that invade the mangroves. YOU can find the oldest mangrove tree that has history way back in World War... you may reach the institution to give you a guided tour of the place.

Great staff and excellent park. The whole area of Ibajay is great if you're the kind of person looking for a low traffic tourist area. The park is great, but there is also plenty of other things to do, too. Ibajay Beach is right across the street, Jawhili Falls, Siba-a Falls, and the Ibajay River. Just to name a few places.
