This is a great little beach that is right by the boat launch to go to Ixtapa Island. Lots of locals there having a great time!! I would recommend it if you couldn't get to the island.

We loved walking on this beach all the way from the pier to the end where there is a camping site. Near the pier there are several restaurants and bars, but it gets quite empty towards the camping. Beautiful and quiet away from the crowd,...More

Playa Linda starts off just after the fishing pier where one can watch the local fishermen catching fish and is also the place to catch ferries across to Ixtapa Island. Unfortunately the first part was covered in litter, following the Easter long weekend. The early...More

Good for families and very close to the dock to catch the boat to Isla Ixtapa for great snorkeling. Very easy to take the local bus from Zihua. The buses run regularly and cost about $.25

This public beach is nice, but was very busy over the Easter Weekend, which, next to Christmas, is the busiest time of year. There are crocodiles and other wildlife that can be viewed near the beach. The sad thing is all of the garbage people...More

We went surfing here in march 2016, perfect location to learn to surf. Even though it was very busy closer to town, the northern part of Playa Linda was wide open for us. Some areas did have areas where there were stones, but plenty of...More

I walked down to the end of the resort zone and found this gem. Beautiful, wide beach. It feels like you're miles from the tourist zone, in comparison. Palm trees stretch into the distance. Yet it's close to a little tourist market, some restaurants and...More

We walked to this beach from the Grand Azul. A nice easy walk on the beach. The shopping here was good. We didn't find the vendors pushy. The prices were ok... but if you are going to Zihua, save your souvenir dollars for there. Much...More

Just a 15 minute walk down the beach from our hotel. Little shops and nice beach with restaurants to stop for a cold beer!

Hola! estaremos hospedados a 2 cuadras de la playa Madera. Según entendí, para ir a la isla Ixtapa hay que tomar una lancha en Playa Linda. Alguien sabe cómo llegar y si es muy lejos?
