This beach in particular is a bit over crowded and not as clean as the other ones. But over all it was beautiful.

We went to this beach twice during our week stay in Ixtapa. Once we road the hotel bikes, 16 km return, through the nature reserve park along the well marked bike trail. We were quite pleaed to see so many crocodiles in the marsh at the beach, as well as many different iguanas and a number of interesting nesting birds.... More

There is a little river along this beach that is filled with crocodiles, iguanas and all sorts of different birds. It was pretty cool seeing crocodiles in their natural habitat. Some of the iguanas seemed friendly too. Also went swimming a few times in this beach when the waves weren't so big. Decent beach with lots to do and see.

Interesting place. It was a holiday time where we were there so we went early so it wouldn't be as busy. We took a boat taxi to Isla Ixtapa and on the way back checked out the crocodiles, birds and iguanas. I think my favourite part was the Mexican musicians we saw hanging upsidown from a large pole! I am... More

Took a cab to Playa Linda for part of a day while vacationing in Ixtapa so we could take pics of the crocs. We also visited the flea market and my husband found a pair of hand made sandals which he loves. If ever back to Ixtapa for a vaca I would definitely make that trip again to Playa Linda... More

Great local beach, with mostly locals. Souvenir shopping with covered walkway. My daughter went parasailing! (about 25$ CAD) and then went on a banana boat tour of the bay. Great place to catch the water taxi to Ixtapa Island.

Decent beach frequented by local people. It is near the aligator farm. There are several restaurants located on the beach.

We hopped in a taxi and asked to go see the crocodiles. There's a market there, lots of restaurants and lots of crocs. We showed up at the perfect time. A local man who collects fish scraps from along the beach feeds them to the crocs. He calls them by name. He's named them after soccer players (thought that was... More

Not impressed with Playa Linda. It was packed with tour buses and nothing special. The market wasn't selling anything special, just the usual tourists stuff. Opted to return to hotel beach.
