The family winery is a bit remote, but that makes the place all the more special, the view over the valley is simply beautiful.
I sent an email to the winery the evening before with the request to join a tour, which was no problem. Once on location, it turned out that we were getting a private tour with our 2 children. Really great! The hostess was very friendly and very informative. Nothing was too much during the tasting either. The table had already been prepared for 4 people and the children could also eat the dishes. There was more than enough!
A visit to this winery is more than worth it, highly recommended!

We visited Gamba just before crush, and had a wonderful visit. The winery is beautiful and the wines are too. We got to see the vineyards, then where they dry the grapes for the Amarone, and the different methods they use to process the Valpolocella & Ripasso wines. I really learned a lot about this regions wines and have developed an even greater appreciation for them. Our host could not have been better, and he had Americans and Germans on the tour and he was fluent for both of us to have a great time and interact with.

We had such a fantastic experience at Gamba. My mother and I went on a private tour with Stella, the daughter of one of the three brothers who run the winery. She was lovely! She spent so much time showing us around and explaining everything to us. We then had a tasting of many wines with snacks. Everything was delicious. This was such a great authentic experience and I highly recommend their wines and the tour!

We visited Gamba, vini classici della Valpolicella as part of a wine tour. Stella, the daughter of one of the three owners from the Aldrighetti family gave us a tour of the facility and also a wine testing. She showed us the winears and the production facilities, and the cellars. Then we went for wine tasting. Really nice wines they have. My favorite were the Valpolicella Ripasso Superior Campedel, the Amarone and the Reccoto Valpolicella Classico. All very nice. Stella told us the vendimia happens in September/October, that would be a great excuse to come back. Really great selection. Highly recommended for a visit.

Stopped here for a wine tour and tasting. Host, Stella was a great host - friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job educating us on the different types of wines from the Veneto region. We were familiar with the Valpolicelli, but not the Ripasso which is an amazing wine with an very interesting technique!! Loved it. A must see if visiting the area.

We went on a tour of the winery which was interesting enough and a tasting which prompted me to buy 36 bottles shipped to England.
Unfortunately, 7 of the bottles were corked with the owner Martino instead rudely suggesting I should go and learn about wine. I have been drinking it for 40 years, have a cellar with 700 bottles in my house and I know the musty smell of a corked bottle of wine.
Enjoy the visit tasting but don’t be tempted to buy any wine because they will not want to know if there is a problem.

But in 15 years it never happens, 7 bottles of 12 were corked, also because I use only certificate cork!!
So I told you before in the mail, I can change and shipping all the bottles in UK..
Thank you.. We are here
