Worth to visit. I took long route for adventure. Scenic view. Every where Greenery in offseason. It's hard trek. Without Guide or local people do not plan Chhoie Waterfall because same place in the night time I saw Cheetah around 9 pm. Overall good place to visit.

#views #reelsinstagram #mountains #morningvibes The journey is wonderful if you are driving your own car or bike. Can stay at the forest guest house or trekkers den. The early morning view of the mountains is beautiful. There are many locals offering small treks to nearby peaks as well. But yes keep warm clothes as it is

A beautiful waterfall with a nice experience in scorching hot summer. We came here in peak of summer to be cooled by its mesmerising view and location. The way to it is a bit treacherous in the end, otherwise you can reach it easily. There is ample parking space. 4-5 cafes around the waterfall. Even small kids can do it easily. Please don't cross the barbed wires since the water is used for drinking.

The trek to the fall is not very easy, there is a decent climb required and we had to take multiple breaks to reach the site. However once you reach there the effort seems well justified. Kthe fall had decent flow of water which was chilling cold. The weather is soothing with both warm feel in sun and cool when in shade. We had a very good weather to accompany the trek.

A short, narrow and steep trek negotiated in about 45 minutes brings you to this hidden gem. The reward is worth the effort.
We rested at the falls for sometime, recharged ourselves before the return trek. The water in the waterfalls fed by Himalayan springs is cold, crystal clear and very refreshing. The vistas along the trek are wonderful and the best part.. there are no crowds.

Mesmerizing waterfall. There is a small trek hence elderly couldn't go. Must visit place. So peaceful, calm atmosphere. No matter how many waterfall you have seen, this will take you to a different timezone.

This waterfall is about 45 minuted walk uphill. The walking path is narrow, and if you are not habitual of walking, you will need to stop to catch your breath. The place is lovely. As of now, it is not crowded, hence, it can be enjoyed for nature and serenity.
If you are in Tirthan, you should visit it.

We visited Tirthan Valley in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh in the first week of March 2019. We stayed at Sunshine home stay.
As always, I try to explore short treks from the place that I usually stay. Our host - Panki Sood recommended the walk to Chhoie Waterfall.
This one is a short trek. We started from our place at noon. Walked about a kilometre to a point near the Sharda Cottage. We met up with our guide - Meera at this point.
The walk up to the falls is a steep hike of about a kilometre. It took us about half an hour to reach the waterfall.
We were the only tourists on that day. As is usual in India, the place was littered with plastic bags, wrappers and empty containers.
But the falls were a wonderful sight. My estimate is that it’s over 100 metres. The ambience is great - the sound of falling water, mist and the greenery around the fall.
As is customary, took a few photos but spend a lot of time savouring the spectacle.
After about half an hour, started our return journey. We were back at about 2.30 pm.

Visited chooie waterfall during visit to Tirthan valley in Oct,2018. It's a 30-45 minutes hike to reach waterfall from the road. It is a natural waterfall named after chooie devta of Tirthan valley. Great place to visit and a very moderate hike to reach the waterfall. A must visit place while traveling in Tirthan valley.

Roughly 3 km walk from the main road (Village Nagini). The trail is easy with few rocky areas in between along the nallah that originates from the fall.
The fall is named after a local deity (Chhoi mata) and the locals pray at one of the tree just before the fall. The fall itself is magnificent and you could walk all the way up to the fall for a good shower.

Yes, it is . As the route to this is known mostly to the locals and their bread and butter is earned by them doing this. Also the reason for taking a guide to this place is to keep a watch on the travellers too, reason being the water fall is of religious importance to the local people so,it is better to take a guide who can tell you about the place and also to watch out any anti social activities like drinking or anything else to be not done there.
