A fairly small stone circle with short stones. Only go if you're interested in the history or if they are part of a longer walk. The field is next to a fairly busy road which has parking for a maximum of six cars.

Finding this site was a bonus as I hadn't expected it. It was quiet and peaceful. A true wonder as are all stone circles.

On the Lamorna Road with small car park but just a short walk up the field. Ancient stone circle. When we visited the field had recently been mown so people had made a grass maze in the circle. Kids loved it.

This is close to the road and easy to access. The stones are not as huge as Stonehenge but nevertheless substantial and all upright. We would have liked some information on site, to explain when these date from and their significance or meaning or use.

Not the biggest stone circle you will ever visit, but very good setting, and worth a quick stop off. There is a lack of interpretive material on site, so read up about it first !

I had read about the Merry Maidens but in the end we found it by chance as we were driving along. Only parking for about five cars and you go in through the farm gate, walk up the hill and there they are, the Merry...More
