- LourdesdaisyAscot, United Kingdom468 contributionsGreat foodSadly the weather was terrible on the day we went so we only ate. A ‘rustic’ cafe with what I assume would normally be great views. We shared the hummus which was amongst the best ever. We then had the fish salad which was delicious. The service at times was slow and uncoordinated but this added to the style of the cafe.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 November 2023
- Tonya HCane Wood, Barbados8 contributionsFresh food, excellent service, relaxing country vibeHad breakfast here for my mom’s birthday. The fish toast is our favorite but we also enjoyed the cassava pancakes, sausage, chips and soursop juice. The food was fresh and the menu is unique. You cannot get a similar dining experience anywhere in Barbados. Service was absolutely warm and welcoming. Being on the farm, enjoying the country air and the views made it the perfect start to the morning. I’ll definitely be back to try the lunch menu.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 21 June 2024
- Alison R8 contributionsDelicious food, service lacking warmthWe visited after seeing the farm and café featured on a BBC tv series. The food was delicious and a good change to the usual Bajan offerings - which are also nice btw. The service was ok. We were given a warm smile and greeting by the chef in the kitchen as we entered however one of the waiting ladies was far from warm. A service charge of 12% does take a bit to swallow when you aren’t made to feel very welcome.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 17 July 2024

We've dined at the PEG Farmhouse restaurant twice in the past three months and both times, every single dish we ordered was fabulous. The menu is well curated and varied, and the cocktails are delicious. The burger, soup, vegetable crisps, and sorrel rum punch were particularly amazing. The open-air dining area is so tranquil and has an incredible view of the property.

Went for a Saturday brunch with the wife, the setting is beautiful the views are beautiful and the constant breeze is fantastic.
The staff are very friendly and. Helpful and the menu is both acomadating varied and fresh and organic ( can not ask for more).
Even the table water is well water filtered and with basil in super tasty.
Me and the wife both had Flank steak on a cassava and Breadfruit flat bread with veggies topped with Rocket, which was so tasty, washed down with a Sorrell Punch, which was very nice. We met the Chef and congratulated him on a excellent menu which was well presented and very well cooked.
PEG Farm is the place to go for a great meal in a non tourist setting hich is quite and peaceful, will be going back for the farm tour and more meals, the butcher up there Oink and Moo is also fantastic to all organic and gluten free.
Two thumbs up.

We spent 12 days in Barbados and had a lot of great meals, but our lunch here was the most disappointing. There were three adults and two children and our meals all came at very different times. A hamburger was ordered and server asked "how would you like it done?" and we said "medium." When it came, it was very pink in the middle and not really edible. When we showed it to the server, she said "I can ask them to cook it some more." (ie. remove the patty from the bun and cook further) which is hardly the correct answer when it is covered with the trimmings. The chicken dish was to be a "quarter chicken", but it was only two small pieces of thigh. Maybe they had a bad day, but we would not go back. PS. the farm itself was great.

We enjoyed an afternoon here exploring the farm with a self guided tour. You just collect a map from the restaurant when you arrive. Views over the Atlantic were truly breathtaking and I have been visiting the island for over 30 years. Surprised to see the campsite here - definitely interested in trying this out for a night or two but unfortunately they don't rent tents so it's bring your own! There's a really interesting herb garden with signs explaining the medicinal properties of various plants.
Don't miss the restaurant. The food is absolutely superb and reasonably priced. The quality of dishes was so high, we honestly could have been eating at a high end restaurant in London. Try the vegan flat breads and the catch of the day curry and the rosemary iced tea. Wow.
We'll definitely be adding this place to our regular spots on the island. I'm excited to see how it develops as it feels like it's just the beginning of something really special.

We had an absolutely amazing morning at PEG. We went on a day when the cafe was closed (unfortunately) but they gave us a map and some advice about what was where and we just wondered around (for free). It’s absolutely beautiful!
From the gullys, to the campsite, to the bees, to the cliff side views, to the medicinal garden to the most friendly chickens I’ve ever come across… we loved every minute of it.
At the end, we popped into the farm shop to buy some meat.
This was a total gem of a find! I can’t wait to return some day to eat in the cafe too.

We popped in here on the way past for some lunch because I'd seen the place had really good reviews. We had a hire car for the day and stopped here between 2 other tourist attractions.
When we arrived the staff seemed a bit put out because we turned up without booking. It was just my husband and I so I really can't see what the problem was. We noticed this a lot in Barbados, everywhere wants you to pre-book but for us that takes away the spontinuity, after all we were on holiday.
The restaurant was full so we were seated outside in a sort of marquee. We didn't mind this at all. What we did mind was waiting almost 90 minutes for our food to arrive without being informed. If we had know it was going to take so long we would have looked around at the farm whilst we waited. That was something I really wanted to do and the main reason I decided to stop at that location for lunch. We didn't get the chance to look around because we had to rush our lunch and leave to go to the next activity we had planned for the afternoon.

We've had several meals at "nice" restaurants where we felt the food didn't rise to the level of the final bill total. This was the opposite. The Farm House restaurant is located within PEG Farm and Nature Reserve, right next to a private elementary school, overlooking rolling fields and nature. The staff was extremely nice and attentive, the music was great and not too loud, and the food was not only totally original and very different from what we're used to, but also scrumptious. We will go again if time permits, as this was by far the best eating (we went for brunch) experience we had on the island. Service was a bit slow but I think we were a bit early for the local habits.

What an amazing place. I came her with my parents and was delighted how many gluten free and vegan options there were available. I opted for the chicken and plantain dish which was beautiful and delicious. Mum had the vegan curry which was a delight to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chefs even told me how I could cook some of the food myself. As every cook knows good food cooked fresh can take a little time to cook, so relax and enjoy the views while your food is prepared with skill and care. Even the water was divine with locally grown basil in the water. I’m only here on the island for 10 days but would love to come back and do the tour and eat the delicious food again.
This is a must visit while on the island.

Can I just come and buy from the shop without paying the entrance fee?
