This small area is for sure worth seeing ! We came there specially because we knew this is a wonderfull place.
And it is indeed !
Few practical recommendations :
There are two basic tours - a short one marked yellow and a "full" one, marked green. The green one is far better although it is demanding some phsical training.
If you enter the park through the main entrance, choose the green mark and go to the left ! Most people turn right and if you do it differently, you go against the main stream of tourists but later you meet them just for a while and thus you can enjoy the trip w/t crowds.
We started at 9 a.m. and we were there quite alone. But keep in mind that the area gets quickly overcrowded later during the day especially during the main seson. This may complicate the visit of some viewpoints which are on the top of the rocks.
Our favourite viewpoint was "Vyhlídka míru" offering great view of Trosky and Ještěd ....

What a beauty! We took the green tour combined with yellow at the beginning and red at the end. Impressive, exhausting a little but, narrow rock corridors, rock stair case everywhere..not suitable for persons with some physical limitations. But there are some lighter tours admirable enough...and then taste the crepes at the parking area café opposire to Turistická chata". So good!

jak jsem si myslel, že jsem viděl už dost z hrubé skály tak jsem se spletl. určitě stojí za navštívění a dát si zelený naučný okruh. Nenechte se odradit vstupným. Za něco se to určitě udržovat musí. Pěkné vyhlídky a krásně značeno - spousta cest.
I se psem se dalo absolvovat.

nice location where you should definetly go.
Beatiful nature. Small fee entrance but nothing so much.
Visited with small dauther and dog. Sometimes a little bit more competitive but worthy.

Impressive place, we took the green route to move around but you can also take the yellow one. Many sights to see, better than expected

.Amazing scenery. Even the short yellow circle, provides you with several view points over the huge rocks.

We hiked ~10km in the park and it was really fun.
We recommend to take the green trail which takes you through the rocks themselves with great view points.

Afterwards we took the blue sorrunding trail that is more quite and goes through the forest and the village.

Great day!

Must do day trip from Prague.

1hr 20 min bus journey from Prague cerny most bus station (end of yellow metro line) 250 koruna for 2 people one way.

Took 1 hour to walk from bus stop to Parchov entrance but can also catch bus up.

Absolute beautiful.

Go early in the day as we ran out of time and would of liked to also see Trosky castle 17 km from entrance.

Got train back from jicin, 2 hr 15 mins, 238 koruna for 2 people.

Also had lunch at park hotel skalni and had delicious goulash.

Must see place in CZ if you can add a day to your Prague visit. Getting there is slightly tricky - with no direct bus or train. I will recommend taking metro to Cerny Most station in Prague and then bus to Jicin (90 minutes approx) and from there a 15 minute bus ride to Holin (very important: do not get off at Holin stop but wait for the next stop after 5 minutes - it lands you right at the entrance of the park).

Go there, walk around for 2-3 hours, it will be just about enough to get hungry and off you go to Detenice to the very special pub.
Prachov rocks offer great views, interesting rock shapes. Walking there is comfortable, suitable for everyone, although there is several parts with longer staircase.
Definitelly worth visiting!
