Nice shops, but really need to see it on the weekend

We went on a Sunday and while this might be a fascinating place for antique lovers, I found the section set up for the weekend crowded and uninteresting. The shops were a bit more interesting and we enjoyed talking with the shop owners.

I was expecting a bit more given the reviews. The shops along the alley and plaza were nice and had interesting items to look at and buy. But since we went on a Friday it was a bit dead and the plaza was empty of merchant tents. Apparently all the tents appear only on the weekends when the flea market... More

I visited Alley of Frogs on Sunday 9th October 2016. This market is vibrant on Saturdays and Sundays. Located in the historic portion of the city amidst magnificent and colossal colonial buildings, the market has antiques, souvenirs and furnitures reminiscent of rich and traditional Mexican cultures. The market has conventional shops as well as traditional street stalls. I would advise... More

You can walk through here, but there is not much to buy. Mostly old stuff that you probably don't need.

It is interesting and enjoyable to walk around the different stalls and see the variety of product, however I do not recommend buying here if you are looking for high quality, authentic pieces. You will see quite a price difference between the ceramic pieces here and at shops but it is due to a very different quality and probably manufacturing... More

a fantastic place on Sundays for lovers of flea markets and antiques. There is everything from the junkiest of junk to great art pieces, jewelry, books, toys, decor, etc. It is a place always crowed, and a must for me every time i can spend a Sunday in Puebla. Over the years I have found great additions to my various... More

Wonderful Cultural Experience. It's a place to purchase beautiful souvenirs and to experience the wonderful rich culture of Puebla City. The locals are very nice with great hospitality.

Some okay shops but pretty small area. I guess the weekend is better as vendors come in with better things to sell. Either way if you're close to the park and main church it's worth checking out.
