For one who speaks only limited Spanish, I was still able to gain an appreciation of the history of this area. It would have been helpful if videos had subtitles, however the other displays were well done. The Huichol art was truly amazing.

The visit to the museum was interesting and I particularly enjoyed seeing all the early coins and notes. the only disappointing part for me was that they had fabulous video's of the history of Zacatecas but it was all in Spanish.

The Zacatecano Museum gives you a quick history of Zacatecas. They have a lot of info on the Huichol people. One of the museum employees suggested i watch one of the films they had to learn more about this group of people.

It is a nice place to get an overview about the city and the state of Zacatecas. Good explanation about "Huicholes" (local indigenous group) and some important events in Zacatecas history. However, this place needs more objects and more information about the building itself.

The collection of displays is a tribute to the region. I did not expect such comprehensive offerings that depict the heart and soul of the people of Zacatecas. The audio/visual information is very well done, but it is in Spanish only. The examples of Huichol...More
