If it wasn't for the heart at the entrance of the calle. it was a disappointment as the calle had nothing to see really

If we didn't have a guide we of course wouldn't have known what this alley is called. Would be nice if there were a sign in English!

We stopped here while we were on a city trolley tour and it’s a nice place for some photos. We liked that it was right next to a little area with some restaurants and bars and returned the following day enjoy that area.

We saw this at night. Seems like an attempt at bringing tourists to this part of town but it’s poorly lit & not much was open when we were there.

This is my favorite spot in downtown Morelia. Lovely place to take photos and just enjoy the ambiance. There are some restaurants and cafés nearby. If you go all the way to the end and face the fountain, you can take the best picture of it! Worth seeing!

The Callejon del Romance is a picturesque little street just meters from the Aqueduct and the "Fountain of the Tarascas" with an entrance framed by Bougainvillea as well as other flowering plants.
A place of tranquility in the centre of the alley surrounded by a couple of beautiful fountains. A lovely place to sit for a while.
Very popular with wedding parties!
This is definitely worth a visit time permitting.

A nice little alley to get away from the hubbub. A couple of restaurants, but we just walked down it and enjoyed the feeling. A fountain or two along the way makes it even nicer.

This is a great place if you are inclined to or participate in romance. It's a 100-meter or so alley that is nicely architected and designed. It has the famous collection of locks ("locking in" your everlasting relationship) at one end. It would be maybe the most romantic thing to do ever to have one of the estudiantinas serenade you as you walked with your one and only along this historic street.

What a beautiful old pedestrian walkway behind the lively Mercado de San Lucas and several other restaurants. Upstairs is a unique modern space with half a dozen food stalls surrounding a casual bar. You can get one of the best burgers in Morelia. Or a German sausage sandwich. Or very good fish tacos. Etc. It's a comfortable space usually crowded. Or sit in the outdoor courtyard in the shadow of the aqueduct. There you have a few dining options including fairly good food at the largest restaurant or pizza from another, or simple burgers at another. One evening we were serenaded with an aria by a soprano from the music conservatory.
