The North Gorge walk is an easy half hour meander around the cliff tops of the North Gorge near Point Lookout at Stadbroke Island. The Redlands Council have done a marvellous job of constructing a wide and easily accessible boardwalk around the entire perimeter with side excursions for the more adventurous where you can look down into the blow hole... There are quite a few stairs on this walk, (even one area of 59 steps) but also the walk is very well maintained. If you can manage the stairs, you will enjoy the walk.

An easy stroll around the boardwalk is well worth it for the scenery and wildlife you encounter along the way. Best in the mornings to watch the dolphins surfing the waves.

This was our best day trip from Brisbane! An easy drive to Cleavland where we opted for the cheaper $10 return ferry ride. It takes 20 minutes longer than the fast ferry but was great. What's the rush? Then we got on the bus for a $9 return ride to Point Lookout. You pay on the bus. Bring cash. We... More

This walk is highly recommended and easy to do, no matter what fitness level. There are some parts you can venture down that have no railing so best to keep little ones to the main trail. Also managed to see sea turtles swimming out to sea which was a highlight for my four year old.

Did this walk after breakfast at The Blue Room easy enough to do plenty of rest spots with benches to enjoy the views.

This is one activity that wont take long (about 40-50mins return with pics time), is not hard to do (unless you dont like steps or have problems climbing and descending steps) and is worth the beautiful views of the north and south gorge you get to see if you complete the board walk.
