A lovely cove, once you have driven through the narrow lanes. Nice beach. Rocks to clamber on, but the tide comes in and then no beach. Another cove round the corner which is lovely too, small fishing boats. Lovely scenery.

Breathtakingly beautiful beach! Well worth a visit! If it had been a little warmer I would have been having a paddle!

Wonderful scenery, it is great for walking, plenty places to eat for all ages or enjoy an ice-cream. It is quaintly English seaside cove, not crowded, parking by beach and coastal path.

This is my favourite beach in the UK with a gorgeous working harbour which allows little boats to go in and out on to the sea.

Always head to hope cove beach. Love it! Counted 6 dogs running free on beach despite many signs saying dogs not allowed at this time of year. Slightly confusing. I love dogs so not an issue for me but not everyone as keen.

A lovely beach, not very big but very nice, car park is close by as are a couple of pubs for food. Some small caves and rockpools to explore which are of interest to kids.

There's some local galleries in Salcombe, lots of shops to browse and lovely cafes and pubs dotted about. Head to south sands and air in the bar watching the waves crash or maybe head out to Dartmouth for a steamtrain ride... More

We went to the smaller of the two pubs the Cove and found it great with good food and competitive prices. The Hope and Anchor was always full but seemed a bit posh for us! None of the establishments in Hope Cove provide... More
