This is a very nice place to swim and lay out on the rocks. The view from the canyon is comparable to Lord of the Rings. Absolutely stunning. Paid a (hefty) fee of $10 USD per person for entry into the private ranch, they provide parking and toilets. To get to the ranch, you need to be driving on dirt... More

After living here for 4 years and visiting over 20, I am embarrassed to say we only just visited for the first time yesterday. It is easy to find, simply drive east out of San Jose toward La Paz until you see the turn off for Santiago. Just past the tree lined section of road entering town and BEFORE the... More

My husband & I recently drove to Santiago Waterfalls. It was an awesome trip. Minor park fee to access a well groomed trail down to the waterfall. Courageous young men climbed to the top and jumped off into the pool of water. The park manager also oversees a small museum about the area. Very nice day trip.

We hired a local to take us to Santiago north of San Jose del Cabo to the ecological reserve call Sol de Mayo. You need to be a bit fit to climb up and down into this little oasis but well worth it

The El Archo was out of this world. I really enjoyed the glass bottom boat which took us on a 45 min tour of the arches and the caves. We also saw the lovers and divorce beach and a bunch of pelicans and sea lions. Just a wonderful experience.. FYI.. the glass bottom is tiny and you cant really see... More

We spent the day with Michel kayaking and snorkeling in an out of the way spot not littered with tourists. It was a longer drive than expected but well worth it! Saw lots of interesting things along the way, all narrated by our well informed guide. Beautiful, calm crystal clear water awaited us; perfect for our excursion. Saw awesome rock... More

Thanks to Mitch for one of the best days we spent in Los Cabos. Mitch took us on a hike through the desert and showed us his country. He is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and made the trip more interesting by his knowledge and pride in his country. The food at lunch was great as well. Mitch... More

I found Waves and Caves through Trip Advisor and all the previous recommendations are to be believed. My husband and I have been to Cabo several times. Our visits always have a heavy emphasis on golf. But this year we decided to try something new. Our kayak trip with our traveling companions lead by Michel did not disappoint. More hands... More
