About
The organic market of San Jose del Cabo was born in 2002 as a space to support small local organic farmers. Later the conscious community is invited to share their talent through crafts, food, painting, photography, jewelry and other artistic expressions such as music. We have parking for motor vehicles although it is also recommended to make a walking tour from the historic center of San Jose to our market. Our visitors can expect a space recognized for being a place with soul and spirit that expresses the traditional and multicultural element of Los Cabos.

Went there yesterday, found it to be below my expectations. It was smaller than I had been led to believe. Some produce, no fresh fish or any kind of seafood. Your typical market junk, food was good tho. Spent all of two hours there and that's only due to the fact we had lunch. Might be because of Covid, but I would't wast my time going there.

Nice market with some cooked food choices. A 10 minute walk from the main square. Not that amazing as a tourist activity but great if you're cooking.

Las Cazuelas del Don at the Market - go and try some of their super delish food. Then go to their little restaurant and have the best authentic mexican. Layers of flavor because they roast, toast, simmer. Yum.

Took the walk from San Jose to the Mercado Organico, but were sorely disappointed. The land appears to be for sale. No one knew anything. There was a small representation of local vendors at the entrance of the road. They were nice, but this wasn’t what we have seen in the past or what we expected.

We went yesterday and was very impressed with the produce at this market. Every vendor had the most beautiful and freshest vegetables I have ever seen. Lots of jewelry and some crafts were to be found. Someone said they spent 3 hours here, maybe there was more vendors that day. We were done in and hour and that was stretching it. We moved here a few months ago and live in Cabo, so it was a drive for us.

Located on a dirt road off the back road of Downtown San Jose. The first market you see is not the Organic Market, you cannot see the real Organic Market from the back road of San Jose. Once you turn off the back road, you immediately turn right and follow the dirt road about 1/2 mile to the Organic Market. Super friendly parking guys will guide you to your space, be sure to give these nice guys a tip.
You should allow at least an hour maybe an hour and half to be able to take everything in.
Be sure to bring small bills and coins with you. Vendors accept either Dollars or Pesos.
Lots of food options, mostly mexican but there is also some Vegan vendors, bread, cookies and tea vendors.
Fun local experience.

We were there in October 2019. Very few stalls. Hope it gets busier when the Snowbirds arrive. Felt bad for the merchants.

We took a 5min Uber ride from our hotel and I thought I entered the right address. There is a TINY regional market (seven stalls) right by the entrance to the dirt road leading to the Organic Market. That’s where the cab driver dropped us. Not knowing where we were, and it being too hot to walk down the dirt road, we completely missed this market. Bummer! I don’t know whether the cab drivers will bring you along the dirt road. But in the heat of the day, my kids and I didn’t get to find out.

Bumpy dirt sand road leading into this outdoor market. Be careful of pedestrians. Vendors speak English. There is jewelry, art, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, clothing. Laid back vibe. Friendly vendors. We bought our weekly vegetables here! Parking lot on site.

Crafts and food everywhere. We bought some honey that is delicious. Also picked up some home made incense and earrings. Cabo coffee for sale too so we bought about 4lbs. of that as well.
